Sometimes the threads of your career path become entwined.
It was wonderful to sit next to our CEO; inspirational leader, Jane Nickerson as she received her Honorary Degree from Coventry University.

Having served as the Head of Fundraising and Alumni Relations for the University I knew most of my alma mater’s team who did a great job on hosting us all.

But yesterday was about Jane – and her oratory advising us to focus on friends, family and fun – and to do a job we love, will love long in the memories of the wonderful graduands. And my oh my, the young (former) students looked so happy and made me feel so old!

Well done to one and all.
